Research Associate (m/f/x)

in Munich

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the coordination project of the DFG Priority Programme „META-REP: A Meta-scientific Program to Analyse and Optimise Replicability in the Behavioral, Social, and Cognitive Sciences” (SPP 2317; see: https://www.lmu.de/psy/de/forschung/meta-rep)
  • In particular: Supporting (a) the planning and organization of centrally coordinated activities and events within the SPP (e.g., conferences, retreats, workshops); (b) communication between the coordination project and the principal investigators and research staff of the projects involved in SPP 2317; (c) external representation of SPP 2317 to the public, academic societies, media outlets, funding agencies, etc.
  • Independent planning and execution of one’s own meta-scientific research activities within the framework of the SPP, including publication of the results

Your qualifications:

  • Excellent university degree (Diploma, Master’s, or equivalent) and an outstanding PhD in Psychology
  • Demonstrable interest in the research topics of the SPP „META-REP“ (ideally with a connection to social psychology)
  • Above-average knowledge of research methodology; relevant proven experience with statistical analysis software
  • Documented experience with Open Science practices (e.g., open data, preregistration, reproducible code)
  • Experience in managing and/or coordinating research projects
  • Organisational skills, ability to work in a team, communication skills
  • Very good proficiency in English
