About us:

The DFG-funded project “Models, Measures, Moderators - Exploration and Explanation of Heterogeneity in Psychological Replications” investigates central methodological questions regarding the replicability and generalizability of psychological effects. It is part of the DFG priority programme META-REP (“A meta-scientific programme for the analysis and optimization of replicability in the behavioural, social and cognitive sciences”) and is led by Dr. Frank Renkewitz (University of Erfurt) and Prof. Dr. Moritz Heene (LMU Munich). The aim of the project is to better understand the causes of heterogeneity in psychological replication studies and to further develop existing methodological approaches for quantifying and interpreting this heterogeneity. To this end, we will develop simulation models for the emergence of heterogeneity as well as meta-analyze data from replication studies. The advertised position is located in the Learning Sciences Research Methodologies unit (Prof. Moritz Heene). Further information on the research network can be found here.
