The chair of Computational Social Sciences focuses on the collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of digital behavioral data, with the aim of investigating socially relevant questions using innovative methodological approaches. The chair is responsible for a module on machine learning and artificial intelligence, which introduces foundational and advanced ML and AI concepts with a particular emphasis on social science applications, including supervised and unsupervised learning, the use of generative AI models in the research process, and the societal challenges of AI systems.
