The DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre SHARP (“Simulation-based learning in higher education: Advancing research on process diagnostics and personalised interventions”) contributes to the development of theory on personalized learning via simulations. The CRC focuses on diagnosis and intervention—two professional practices of major relevance across many academic professions.
Subproject B05 “Diagnosing and intervening in teams: Personalising collaborative problem simulations based on individual- and group-level characteristics” investigates how group characteristics (in terms of motivation, prior knowledge, personality traits) influence the quality of diagnostic and intervention decisions and how these decisions can be promoted by taking group characteristics into account.
The position is located at the Chair of Social Psychology (Prof. Dr. Mario Gollwitzer). The project is carried out in cooperation with the Chair of “Psychology of Teaching and Learning” at the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, as well as the Medical Education Center (MEC) at the TUM School of Medicine.
An overview of all subprojects and open positions can be found here.
