The research group of Prof. Markus Meissner invites applications for doctoral student positions to work on fundamental biological aspects of apicomplexan parasites and their host cells. A major focus will be the analysis of gene regulation and host cell egress of Plasmodium falciparum, the causative agent of malaria.
The Meissner lab is based in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Numerous core facilities ensure state of the art equipment and expertise.
