The research project “Agile-RDM” cooperates with the LMU Open Science Center and the Priority Program META-REP (“A meta-scientific research program to analyse and optimise replicability in the behavioral, social, and cognitive sciences”), which is coordinated at LMU.
We are looking for you:
Research Associate (m/f/x)
in Munich
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Scientific work in the DFG-funded project “Agile-RDM: Establishing an agile and needs-oriented research data management strategy in psychology” (Principal Investigators: Dr. Katarina Blask, ZPID Trier; Prof. Dr. Mario Gollwitzer, Chair of Social Psychology/LMU; Prof. Dr. Felix Schönbrodt, Chair of Research Methods/LMU; see here
- Specifically: Evaluation of an agile course concept for research data management in psychology; planning and implementation of a certification strategy for research data management
- Conducting empirical studies
- Communication with project collaborators at ZPID in Trier as well as with cooperation partners
- Contribution to scientific publications
- Presentation of project work at meetings and conferences
- Working languages are German and English; we expect potenttial candidates to be business-fluent in German.
Your qualifications:
- Excellent university degree (Diploma, Master's, or equivalent) and an outstanding PhD in Psychology
- Interest in research questions in the areas of evaluation research, research data management, and/or meta-science
- Above-average knowledge of research methods; demonstrable proficiency in statistical analysis software
- Documented experience in applying Open Science practices (e.g., open data, preregistrations, reproducible code)
- Experience in conducting and/or managing research projects
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and excellent communication skills
- Excellent command of English
