We are looking for you:
Postdoc position in Functional Precision Oncology (m/f/x)
in Munich
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Utilize single-cell techniques (snRNA-seq, 10x Genomics) and spatial biology methods (sequential immunofluorescence with Lunaphore COMET; spatial transcriptomics with Xenium, 10x Genomics) to study tumor FFPE tissues.
- Perform Illumina-based next-generation sequencing (Novaseq XP).
- Conduct drug testing on established tumor cell lines and organotypic tissue slice cultures.
- Establish and characterize tumor-derived organoids.
- Play an active role in analyzing quantitative biological data and guide others in its interpretation.
Your qualifications:
- A PhD (or equivalent) in immunology, molecular biology, biomedicine, or related natural science fields
- Extensive experience in molecular biology and cell culture, with a strong preference for expertise in organoid cultivation and next-generation sequencing
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and programming skills in relevant languages (e.g. R or Python)
- Strong command of English
- An open and outgoing personality with exceptional teamwork skills
- Ability to think critically and work independently
