We are looking for you:

Student Assistant (m/f/x)

in Munich

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation of R demonstrations for the Master course "Machine Learning in Econometrics” in the summer term 2023
  • This will involve searching for examples and data, writing pieces of R code, and producing figures with R, among other things.

Your qualifications:

  • You should be in the last year of a Bachelor program or in a Master program
  • You have good programming skills in R
  • Ideally, you have some experience with LaTeX
  • You have strong knowledge in the field of Machine Learning (e.g., having taken a course like “Introduction to ML” and ideally a course like “Supervised Learning”)
  • You are able to explain complex ideas in a comprehensive and concise manner
  • You have a background in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related quantitative field
  • You have a reliable, independent way of working
  • You have a good command of written English
